I always like to open photos in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to toggle through them. At the bottom of the screen, one of the buttons says "Closes this program and opens window for editing Ctrl+E." I used to have that set to open Photo Editor, which is an old old tool of MS Office. I like its simplicity. It's been discontinued for a while, I think, but I have it on my Office 2002.
I can't remember how to change that icon to bring up Photo Editor. It keeps bringing up Paintbrush.
This is not changed by right clicking on a filename and left clicking on "Open with." I have that set to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, which is what I want. Maybe if I disable Paintbrush...
