Im looking into purchasing a Automatic Satellite for my camper. Im not looking to mount it just use a stand. I want to purchase everything at once Satellite and reciever. What would y'all recommend? I will be using DIRECT TV. Looking in the $500 range for the satellite.

Are you aware that all "automatic satellite" systems other than the roof-mounted Winegard Trav'ler or RF Mogul will provide SD programming ONLY when used with DirecTV? If that's acceptable to you then something like the Winegard Carryout G2 will do what you want, at least until DirecTV stops SD broadcasting which may occur in 2019.
