Had a wonderful Christmas Eve get-together at the OH condo. As usual, Chris outdid herself with the (her own) catering.

We began the evening with a singalong, followed by the kids opening presents (they were really impatient/excited), big eats, then more entertainment.  We started the playing/singing of Christmas carols with two guitarists, but ended with 2 ukulele players and 3 prospective new uke players.

The entertainment highlight was, hands down, the '12 days of Christmas' performed by grandson Tyler and Mom Debbie. The audience sang the verses while Tyler and Mom played/acted out each of the 12 days; Something they saw on YouTube, but this performance was a classic.

12/25 is Chris' birthday but, as usual (whether the party is 12/24 or 12/25), she's 100% focused on kids and grandkids.

Sounds like you all had a wonderful day. Merry Christmas and belated happy birthday to Chris  :D

Thanks Jackie, and a belated Merry Christmas to you both. Isn't this the time of year when the whole of Scotland holds a week-long liquid consuming party, Christmas through Hogmanay?  ;D
