I am brand new to the board and must say I appreciate how well everyone responds on this forum! We are considering a TT for the first time and own a Nissan Armada with tow package.
Armada Ratings are 9000 lbs tow rating, 123" wheelbase, GCWR=14,800, tongue 900lbs. The GVW is 5500 and our family of 4 adds 500 lbs.
Springdale 298BHL-GL ratings shipping weight 6500, carrying capacity 3005, hitch 705, dry axle weight 5795, exterior lenght 32'8".
The Manager at the Dealership here in Oregon has an Armada and the same TT. While I appreciate his opinion that the set-up works fine I want to double check the numbers. We would plan to use a weight distribution hitch and I have heard great reviews on other sites about the Equalizer hitch for sway.
