We traveled with a male Siamese and had him on a harness. We did a lot of exploring and he thoroughly enjoyed getting out of the MH and investigating everything. The old timers can tell you about him. He especially liked Quartzsite and the desert.

We have friends with two siamese cats and they are leash trained, but they just use their collars.

When I had two cats, one was leash trained (So is the other techinically) and loved to take me for long walks about the campground.
The other, though leash trained, does NOT like the great outdoors at all, strictly a home body.

I would love to leash train my cats but I won't want to battle fleas again. I finally got rid of them and never want to see one again in my life.
I just became aware of KitNipBox and subscribed to it. My first box will be here on Tuesday. I am anxious to see how well my cats enjoy it.
