No power to part of the TC
« on: February 22, 2017, 02:01:58 AM »
I have an electrical problem I need help with.  I've lost some power to my TC, the power distribution panel keeps blowing the 2 30 amp fuses as soon as I pull the master On/Off switch in the battery box.  I was thinking it was that switch but now I believe it is the distribution panel.
Question is, mine is going on 17 years old, is it time to replace?  Everything was fine and then it just wasn't.

Any input would be appreciated.

Welcome!!

Sounds like the battery(ies) may be connected backwards. Clue: 2 30amp fuses. These sound like the polarity protection fuses that protect the converter (battery charger), if equipped.

I will check but the battery has been there without a problem until just recently.
