I have a '94 Pace Arrow with a Hydroflame furnace.  Last time we used the furnace, we could smell exhaust inside the RV.  Several dealers told me it was almost certainly a hole in the heat exchanger.
I ordered a new heat exchanger and changed it but I still smell the exhaust inside.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I shoud check?  Thanks,  Pete Kennedy

You might check the external vents to make sure there are no mud dauber nests in them.  That's one of their favorite sites.

Also the gaskets where the external exhaust & intake attach to the furnace itself.

Smelling furnace exhaust inside is very dangerous - you are getting exhaust products such as carbon monoxide and they accumulate in your bloodstream without you even knowing it. Death can be a result!
