Boy Ron, you're starting to live dangerously in your old age.  I thought you were allergic to that white stuff.  ;D  ;D  Let's see we're expecting it to be 82 degrees on Saturday.  You can think of us while you watch the white stuff melt.  Tee hee.

Ardra

Yep those allergies really kicked up.  Didn't go out much. ;D  Much of the 7 inches of snow melted today here in town.  Probably will be pretty much gone tomorrow.  Our high today was in the 30/s but os forcast to be warmer tomorrow.

The ring necked Pheasent looked pretty sharp running around in the snow here at Sam's Camp and the deer have been using the yard as a play ground.

And it's things like that that make it worthwhile hanging out in the snow. Lucky you.

Ron,

That looks like my coach did last April when we returned to CT! Our's wasn't that deep but it is something with which the coach is not familiar. We're hanging around FL until mid April this year. :)

Low last night was 18.9F but it has warmed up all they way to 28.1 F already today witha expected high of 39F  double burrr here.  We will be heading out towards Moab about the second week of April.

Only 7 inches of snow.  Total moisture resulting from this storm was .6 inches.  Guess they need the moisture but we could do without the cold.

We got another skiff of snow here last night. Almost all gone but big black clouds are moving in from the southwest. At least we don't have tornadoes here....I'll take the snow any day.

We're a little to the east of you - a few miles south of Hesperus.  We woke up to an inch or two of snow this morning.  It's mostly melted, but I'm watching snow flurries now.  We're parked at a cousin's place for a couple of weeks.

Yesterday morning we were in Canyon de Chelley.  Beautiful view of the snow-covered rocks from the canyon rim, but we skipped the walk to White House ruin because everything was slippery.

Hi Jeannine

Flurries flying here right now but there's blue sky to the southwest. Supposed to be 70 degrees here Sunday. But it's Colorado so you never know what's gonna happen weatherwise.

Are you going to visit Mesa Verde while you're in the area?

Probably.  We've been there several times, but always enjoy it.

There are some benefits to arriving at Sam's Camp early.  We had another visitor this morning with the arrival of the resident Pheasent the attached photos were taken though our window and the pheasent, we call him Charlie, was less than ten feet away.  Charlie went out of sight for a short while but then we heard some noise and when we looked again the second male pheasent was there and it was obvious that they were not the best of friends.  Hope you enjoy some more shots of the wild life we have right here at Sam's Camp.

Oh it is expected to be in the 60/s today and most of the white stuff is gone.

Charlie's a fine looking bird. Looks like he was looking right at you while you took the pictures. Do you suppose there's a Charlene nearby that he was fighting for??

I think Charlene is playing hard-to-get .... and, it's working!  :D

Margi

Charlene stopped by this evening.  You have to look close as she blends right in with her surroundings.  Have seen Charlie several times but haven't had a good opportunity to photograph him so you will just have to look at last years photos of him.  He is bigger this year.

Charley and his challenger were in the back yard today facing off.  Interesting to watch them.  Attached are some photos taken today.
