I walk out my front door today and see a Hawaiian guy walking the neighborhood. He said "hi, my name is Sammy". We talk for a while, and I learn that he's lived in the community for 15 years, although we've never met. I ask "do you play ukulele", and his eyes light up before he asked if I have a uke and could he see it. I disappear into the house and bring out a concert and a baritone uke (the baritone is tuned like a guitar, and I later find out that Sammy also plays guitar).

I'm treated to an impromptu 'concert' on my driveway. I invite Sammy to our next uke band practice, and tell him to bring a uke.

this one came up, and I remember you writing about a group....
You've probably seen this before, but looked like a fun group uk thing to do...

Brad - I just saw the UOGB in concert a few months ago. Fantastic and funny. I then bought a six dvd set of their performances.

Aye Brad, that's like their signature tune.
