St. Petersburg Campground-Strom Thurmond Lake-GA

Hi! Planning a 2 week stay in April at St. Petersburg Campground (Corps of Engineers) at Strom Thurmond Lake in Appling, GA. 40ft Jayco Pinnacle will be home. Does anyone have any experience with these camp sites and how they are for such a large rig?

I haven't been there in years, but my recollection of Petersburg is that accessibility for big rigs was often difficult. Only had a few sites that were readily accessible to big rigs. We preferred the Winfield Campground instead, and it's only a few miles away. It has good roads and many large sites, but still lovely landscape and right on the water.
