Hi,

I'm needing to find a trailer to tow a Toyota Tacoma 4WD from Astoria to Mobile. It weighs in at 5500 lbs, and the ones available at UHaul are rated at just 5000 lbs.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Maybe you could remove the drive shaft and tow it on a dolly?  I did that once with a big station wagon.  Dick

Sounds close enough for.me.  make shoure its got a empty tank of gas and It isent full of stuff.... I'm assuming uhall told you the curb weight was over 5500.  They tend to pull number based on worst case

Google "trailer rentals" in your area. There are plenty here in northern CO. They're also on Craigslist around here. $75/day and up for 10000-14000 lb trailer including insurance.  Weekly rates a little better.
