For those who have not had the opportunity to drive the Mojave Road - a cross country desert route from Laughlin, NV to Barstow, CA - I thought I'd share a video of some friends and I doing it last month. Under "normal" conditions, most of the trip can be done in a 2WD vehicle. We made the trip after some unseasonable rains, and several parts of the road were washed out. We had to do a little "wheelin'" to get through a couple of areas, and our friends, who were in a classic '66 Bronco with stock ground clearance, only had to use a bypass route once. You're not going to be able to make this trip in a typical motorhome, but I don't mind tent-camping - it was actually pretty fun. I hope you enjoy the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3e3iN7F31c
