Looks really nice. Makes me wonder if it would look even better with the entire cabinet painted but BOY... what a project that would be!

Initially I did want to paint the entire interior cabinets. I am not fond of faux wood.

However, I live here 24/7 with no car, so I can't just move out either.

Painting all of it seemed rather daunting, especially all that sanding and mess and drop cloths and trying to live around the mess.

Then a little lightbulb came on in my dim little head. TA DA!

Why not paint the cabinet faces?

It started when I found white cabinet faces at the dump and brought them home. Holding them up to see if they fit but none did. It gave me a chance to go HMM...  What if I painted just the cabinet faces?

Also the ones I found were in pure bright white and I quickly realized an off white would look better. I wanted a pale buttery color, but I had to compromise on Satin Ivory Silk. Pretty close to pale butter.

I think it looks great, but I need to finish the entire rig and then see.

It's very slow going and weather permitting.

But after 7 years  in this tiny rig, I am super happy to have a new brighter look.

Wheeeeee!
