Hello everyone, we're new to the forum so bear with us please.
We're looking at a 2008 sunrise 35L, seems everything is good. It has a washer dryer, and basement air. Any ideas what we should be looking for? We've been fifth wheel owners in the past.
Thanks for any thoughts you might share.

Welcome! Go to the forum Library (link close to the top of the page) and look under the Buying an RV topic. The added complexity is of course you add a motorized chassis with this unit. So in addition to the usual house inspection, you need to inspect the chassis/engine.

Then there's the on the highway manners that need to be considered. The shorter the wheelbase and the longer the overhang past the rear axle means you will be fighting the steering wheel in wind, on a crowned road or when a truck passes. If you look around at the gas rigs, many of them have a very long overhang past the rear axle. This 'unloads' the front axle effectively moving weight aft from the front axle to meet weight requirements.

Also go to the Winnebago web site and under the RESOURCES banner you can find the operators manual for that unit. Read thru it several time before you go to get the unit that way you'll have a working knowledge of how all systems should work so you can check for proper operation.
