Planning a trip which will have us through Eureka first week of July. Campground/sight suggestions are appreciated. Thx

The Elks Lodge has an RV park but you must be a member.

You have to eat at the Samoa Cookhouse.  Outstanding!!

The Moose lodge also has a park--membership required.

Be sure to see the Blue Ox museum. And Ferndale. And the Pink Lady. And the WW2 emplacements on the island.

river walk rv park in fortuna (15minutes up the road) is the nicest park we have found on this section of northern cal.

About how much do they charge per night. I've been thinking about joining.

Some are just a donation. The most I have been charged was $15. It is the best money I have spent. You can learn about what to see in the area, enjoy a great dinner and an adult beverage. They treat you like family.

In St. Charles Illinois, were directed to our spot and were told by the guy that directed us,"You don't need to unhook. You can use my car."
