we are looking to buy a Ram truck. Looking to see if anyone has a friends and family discount number we could use.

It's an employee pricing thing. Friends and family of Chrysler employees get to purchase at 1% under invoice.
 
If you live within reasonable driving distance of Idaho, try Denis Dillon, we saved thousands going there. They even collect you from the airport.
 
we are in Lafayette, LA right now. I checked and they do have a lot of trucks
 
With Ford, you just have to know someone, and they'll give you the number.  They didn't have to appear in person.  The guy I knew just called it in to my salesman.  Hope this helps.

We were in Vegas and saved around $6000 approximately so it was worth it for us. The drive back ran the truck in. Dan Malone was the sales guy we used. I can pm his number if you'd like. No harm in chatting. We thought once we had a price we could use it to negotiate pricing in Vegas but nope.  Had a slight issue with one wheel, the balancing weight had come off, dealer sorted it same day we got to Vegas. Great truck, we love it.
