Hi! New here and looking for a little help/assurance...
I have a new travel trailer.  4600 dry, 6500 gvw.
My tow vehicle is a 2007 F150 Supercab , 145" wheelbase, 5.4L, 3.73 axle, Equalizer wdh/sway bars system, electronic brake  controller.  Truck rated for maximum 9300 lbs trailer.
Should I be okay with that?  I know there are a lot of similarities in questions, so my apologies.  Thank you so much!

First, welcome to the Forum!

Thank you for a GVWR on the TT!  You are already ahead on the learning curve!

That max trailer wt is correct for that year, body and drive train, assuming minimal options, 150# driver, full fuel tank, NO PASSENGERS AND NO CARGO.

You must deduct from that the weight of options, passengers, a WD hitch and cargo, which will decrease that number significantly.  However, you have a 6500# TT, which leaves 2800# for all of that stuff, so you should be good.

I would normally do an analysis starting with your payload, but the yellow payload labels were not in common use before 2009.  Even that way, the 650# hitch wt (10% of GVWR) and 80# for a WD hitch is only adding 730# to the truck.

Based on the stuff on your truck like brake controller, you should be great.

My only nagging doubt is you did not say how long the camper was.  At 6500#, I suspect it is fine, but anything over 26 or 27 feet can become a big sail back there, and the tail wags the dog.

Good Luck!  Thanks for asking!!

Here's a picture of the same one at the dealer. Haven't picked mine up yet. :)
