This afternoon 22 Delta Strummers performed for an appreciative audience at a senior living facility in Antioch, CA. Photos will follow from their Activities Director. Meanwhile, she posted a photo and a 'thank you' note on their Facebook page. Things were a little tight, as we played in a corner of their dining room, but we made it work.
FWIW the guy standing at the back, wearing a hat and red shirt, is playing a gut bucket (aka wash-tub bass).
Logistics are a challenge at this facility; Parking is very limited, and we have to park down the hill at a shopping center. Their bus driver wasn't available prior to the concert, so my better half volunteered to shuttle folks up the hill in our Suburban. We also had a few guys and a pickup truck deliver folding chairs from another facility.
