Balto-Washington Parkway
« on: March 30, 2017, 06:58:02 PM »
Hi all!  We're looking forward to our first outing of the year in a couple of weeks.  We're heading to Point Lookout State Park in Maryland.  I've driven the Baltimore-Washington Parkway many times without a camper.  But, I have never been aware of it's camper-friendliness.  Can anyone tell me if there are any issues that I should be aware of?  I'm about 11'-4" high at the A/C.  Thanks!

This might help.  We are also going to Point Lookout at the end of April.

The BW parkway is very rough. Lots of dips holes bumps etc. I went to cheeryhill Campground and would not take the road again. I was pulling a 22ft popup and I was all over the road.
Howdy, The wife and I try to go out at least once a month, but we usually stay local. To me it's more about just getting away from work and just relaxing. Once a year we take the whole family 4 adults 2 teenagers and a 3 year old.
