Rear castor wheels?

At the back of the motor home, there are two mounting plates for instalation of wheels to lift motor home from scraping the fuel tank enclosure. I would like to know the recommended diameter of wheel and type to be used?

Has anyone installed these?

RV model: 796 xL 1990 Triple E Regency 26'

The rear "skid" wheels used to be popular to handle the frequent scraping of older RVs with long rear overhangs. They can only do so much, but if you have that problem they will help. You need solid metal wheels, though some have a vinyl covering that will last a few drags.

For large RVs, 5" or 6" wheels are typical, but there are smaller 2"-4" types that might be OK for yours.  It's a judgement call, since larger diameter wheels handle the weight better, but they also drag more often. Here's a selection:
