A fairly common problem exists with many ford products where the instrument cluster and other things go bad. I have just had one installed and now the it is toast. I have researched it considerably. I find mention many times of a relay involved which I have changed - no help.
It may be occurring when I undo the negative battery connection. It seemed to happen when I put in a new battery and when I removed the negative post recently.
If you had this experience, what did you learn.
