Put our class A away after camping this weekend. When I went to disconnect the battery service at the control panel it would not work. The red light showing the batteries are still connected stays on. It has been 36 hours. What am I missing?

Are you hooked to shore power?  Usually the house side is still powered through the converter, even if the batteries are disconnected.
