We need a place to stay over the 4th of July weekend and are looking at Trace State Park near Tupelo, MS. The state website says the lake has been drained for "renovating". Does that mean that the area is a giant mud hole now with tons of flies and mosquitoes, or is it still a nice place?
Since we pick up the new rig in Tupelo, we need someplace close that has room for our rig and a cargo trailer with all our stuff in it.
