Volunteers Needed for Camp Hosting in Colorado
« on: May 04, 2017, 01:43:33 PM »
Greetings camp hosts!

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is looking for dedicated volunteers to help care for Colorado's state parks while experiencing breathtaking views of nature!  Park hosts support quality outdoor recreation experiences and resource stewardship by greeting arriving campers, offering check-in assistance, performing maintenance, and promoting educational programs. Wildlife and hatchery hosts conduct hatchery walking tours, provide visitor center coverage, and assist with maintenance. Our volunteer hosts receive a designated camp spot, along with an annual parks pass after 48 hours of service (accommodations vary by location). The following sites are looking for volunteers to help this summer season:

John Martin
San Luis Lakes
Sylvan Lake
Rifle Falls Hatchery
Chuck Lewis Wildlife Area
Tarryall Wildlife Area

Please contact Colorado Parks & Wildlife for more information at: 303-291-7202.
