Gentlemen, I have limited experience with my Freightliner, diesel, Allison combination.  I am experiencing a shudder.  I posted something in Motorhome forum about it, but getting not a lot of responses and I have been impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of people in the winnebago forum.  Could you guys please check this out and comment?

Get the rig to a shop that's an Allison dealer to diagnose the transmission. I believe there's a separate Transmission Control Module they can plug into and look around.

My 8.1 W22 with 6 speed Allison has a bit of a shudder in 4th gear. Was told by a reputable Workhorse facility that its not uncommon and has to do with harmonics or nature of the beast. He could have certainly recommended diagnostic if concerned but didn't.
