I have just bought a 1991 35' Fleetwood motorhome and it needs some work done on it. The first thing I am doing is replacing the roof. It came with EPDM rubber roofing. I am wanting to find out what all I need for the roof to get it replaced before I get the inside remodeled. I know I will need glue but what type and how much I have no idea. I also know I would like to put a coating on top of the rubber because it is black. What type do I need? Where can I get all the stuff I will need? It would be easier for me to buy all this stuff online as I live in the middle of nowhere and don't have a truck. I will also be add some pictures and other question to this post later on.

First, look at this site. It's probably the most popular EPDM for RV's. It comes in colors other than black, and they have the correct glue.

You may also want to check this out and compare the costs:

Not sure what your intentions are here. Is the existing roof black because of dirt etc?? The underside of Dicor is black (rubber) but the top is/was usually white unless it was coated by a previous owner. Most people would be removing the old material completely down to the wood to check for old leaks, rotten sections, etc. The new Dicor material will be white (if that is what you order) on the top. (You really don't want a black roof as that only attracts the heat.) A new roof will not require a coating for many years into the future.
