Help picking a route from Canada

Hi all  -

I am heading out of Canada on my third leg of the trip and I am wondering if you can recommend which route I should take back.  Google seems to favor the "middle" route in this link which is shorter in distance but longer in time.:

Ellinsburg why?
Your route is going to take you more likely 12 hours.  Seattle area traffic is horrible.
I would go thru Olympia and south to hwy 12 over the mountains.  Mileage might be a bit longer, but time wise probably faster.

did you look at taking the ferry from victoria to port angeles?
