So - long story short, I just bought a '94 Tioga Montara that has significant water damage. At first, we thought only the cab would need to be redone, but after tearing into it this past weekend we realized that the walls are also soaked with water and have been for awhile.
We're removing the cabinets and everything on the walls so we can replace the paneling with Luan and add some paint, but I'm wondering what would be the best option for insulation. I've read that the fiberglass stuff isn't good for RVs because of the constant motion, so some of the fiberglass particles move around in the walls, but styrofoam sheets seem to be really expensive. Has anybody had luck with updating/replacing their insulation? Thanks in advance.
