My 5er if pre-wired for Satellite but I was wondering if I can use that to attach my coax to get to my radio inside?

What say ye?

The TV is probably 75 ohm cable, and if you want it for ham usage, you really want 50 ohm.
But it still may work.

I may open one of the boxes on the outside where the sat coax hooks up and see if maybe there is a way I can tie onto it and pull a new coax in its place?

I wouldn't run 100 watts through that cable, or connectors of questionable quality.

The excessive loss might actually improve SWR, as the reflected power is dissipated before reaching the radio. Of course, forward power won't reach the antenna very well either.

The cable might reveal a decent pathway, but I doubt you'll be able to use it as a pull string. It's probably stapled or tie-wrapped in place.

Thanks guys, I will look for another way in after I figure out what antenna and mast I come up with.
