The more you plan the more your plans change. Originally our 2017 road trip was going to be in the east - Stockbridge MA for the Rockwell Museum then Niagara Falls and what ever we come across on the trip. Instead we are going to revisit Yellowstone Park and Mt. Rushmore. Next year will be our western loop - Sherman TX, Santa Fe NM and Queen Creek AZ with stops at the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Have to make these long trips while we can.
Tornadoes are so rare in Oregon that we hadn't a clue. Anyway, we found that less is more, when it comes to planning specific destinations in advance. We had a ball.
