I just purchased a 2017 Winnie Drop 170S. It replaces a 2012 R-pod 177 which came with a 1.25" receiver. I want to continue to use my bike rack which requires a 1.25" or 2" receiver. Is an add-on hitch receiver available for the Winnie Drop?

A trailer/hitch shop should be able to weld one on for you. I have a Minnie and want to do the same and went to my local specialist for a quote ($300). The extra cost is they need to brace it to the frame as well as the bumper and on my Winnie that means welding in a cross-piece (my previous trailer's frame ran close to the bumper so it was a simple job). Do not just clamp one onto the bumper as I have heard from multiple sources of fully loaded bike racks twisting the bumper off the trailer -- it needs to be braced.

I use this on the back of my coach to install my bike rack.
