I was planning to take NM Hwy 152 west to Silver City. Then I cam across a post on the Silver City KOA site suggesting that RVers should not take Hwy 152 in a camper over 24'. I have a 27' camper and feel fairly confident driving winding roads. Has anyone pulled a camper down that road and have an opinion? It's supposed to be a beautiful drive and I would really love to take it.

We pulled our 31ft trailer through there in March and had no problem at all.  It did not have any extreme grades or switchbacks that were memorable.  It's a beautiful drive, but isn't a fast road.
