Hi Everyone,

I am on my last step in buying a Micro Minnnie. I have a Tahoe with 5200# tow rating and it's GVWR is 3800. The model is 1700bh. Does this sound solid for Rocky Mountain use?

Also, anyone have experience with one and are they worth the higher cost?

Thanks for the insight!

That sounds about right if you are saying the Tahoe weighs 3800 pounds. My F-250 diesel will tow 10,000 pounds but it weighs about 6700 pounds. Generally speaking a vehicle can tow roughly twice its weight. What does the Micro Winnie weigh (maxed out)?

We have a regular Minnie and the quality is really good and worth the premium price.

But you'd better watch what you put in the Minnie...it seems to have a 5500lb GVWR thanks to its 2500lb cargo capacity (those dual axles help). I think with even a reasonable load your Tahoe may be over-matched.

A Tahoe will have a GVWR far in excess of 3800 lbs - the empty vehicle alone weighs around 5000! I'm pretty sure that 3800 is the GVWR of the Micro Minnie, which ought to be well within the towing capability of a Tahoe.
