I placed this in the wrong section earlier..sorry.

Have a 55 G Generac generator in a 2003 Dolphin.  I went to a baseball tournament the weekend and just stayed in the parking lot.  It was quite hot this weekend.  On the way home, I noticed that the rear AC wasnt working.  I stopped and checked the breakers on the generator.  There is a20 amp on top and a 30 on the bottom.  The 20 had tripped...i reset it and went 10 miles or so...tripped again.  I reset it again and it then lasted for the remainder of the drive...1 hour or so.  Any suggestions?  I know that breakers can get weak.  Think 3 days of running straight and heat just got to it?

Thanks in advance

Robbie

You say it was hot, so the A/C was likely to be cycling frequently.  If your start capacitor is weak, this could stall the compressor on startup and trip the breaker.  That's where I'd start, anyway.
