How to discharge a Lithium battery

Hello battery people, l need to discharge a litium-ion battery (current status: soc >80% (96V)) l need to discharge this battery from 96V to 80V. I have no way to monitor the cell voltage while doing this because the electronic has failed. how can I safely do this in a very low budget? Help !!!!
 
Connect it to a regular 120vac lamp with a low wattage bulb (polarity won't make any difference).  Monitor with an el cheapo digital meter set to DC volts.
 
That was going to be my suggestion as well.. You really do need a volt meter. Even the el-cheapo from Horrible, er, harbor Freight is good enough.
