Hi all-
I wasn't sure where to post this, thought i'd try here. I've come across this website from the National Weather Service that is somewhat of a trip planner that includes detailed weather along the route, it's in the experimental stage, what I've seen is pretty impressive. I hope the link works.

I Googled for such a tool because I was looking for a planner that would tell me wind conditions. Accuweather has a planner but does not include wind.
What does anyone else use if anything?

Thanks,
Gary

I use a combination of  "WeatherBug" / "NOAA weather" / and "first alert" on my phone.
All have various uses but tend to be location specific.
Your link looks interesting.

Hi BinaryBob,

Thanks for the suggestions. I hope this NOAA based one continues to be supported. I did a test route through the Southern CA desert with a start and stop point and a few wind advisory's popped up, it's exactly what I would like to use before taking off on the day's expected leg of travel.

we use Windy its an app and shows wind speed and direction all over the US it also shows predicted wind for days ahead
