Gotta Rant, 99 Itasca f53 v10, chassis ac needs attention.
Shouldn't take all freaking day to round up parts for replacement.

Two different receiver driers listed in parts and apparently it's a secret so far as to which one it takes.. woulda used the number off the old one but that paper tag is long gone...

Guess I shoulda suspected that it wasn't a stock ford compressor, thankful for that number is still legible!

Expansion valve.. number found on viable search hit that matched up to winnies numbers, hoping the threads match.. ;)

got a generic o ring kit.. so far so good finding matches...

No two parts from the same supplier, so no warranty, no discounts..

Living the life, thanks for listening!

I'd let it go and use the coach AC but the worry of compressor seizing and eating off a belt doesn't appeal to me much.

Yeah, it can be a nuisance. It's a hybrid system, with the base parts from the chassis builder (Ford) and the rest from Winnebago. These days Ford typically supplies the compressor, condensor, etc. with the chassis and the RV maker adds the dash area components, but back in '99 that was not always the case.

Back in the day most motorhomes used an Evans-Tempco dash a/c system. Now many of them are by Denso.
