Ok I have a 2008 Sunstar that we just got and have a dish network Wally receiver which seems to require RG6 coax. Which I doubt my home has in it. How do you run new coax? Is there a specific route.

You probably won't notice the difference between RG6 and RG59 within the walls. RG59 has less than 1 dB per 100 feet additional loss compared to RG6.

I agree the short run of RG 59  won't likely bother the system,  HOWEVER  I like to do it properly.

Personally What I did was find a path to outside, from inside (Several such paths exist) and run new RG-6

But as others have said, 59 will iikel be OK.

I know there is a "Recommended maxium length of cvable" for RG 6 it is something like 200'
For 59.. 50 foot.

If that helps
