Atwood fridge won't work
« on: June 22, 2017, 02:22:13 PM »
I have an Atwood fridge in my fifth wheel. I think that my problem is with the circuit board but not 100% sure. It won't work on either propane or ac. According to the owners manual, the errors in getting mean that both are unavailable. However we've tested my ac, I have 110 at plug and going into board, and I was able to light the fridge on propane by jumping the solenoid directly from 12v so I have propane. I can see the igniter sparking when I turn it on, but the solenoid won't open when it's hooked up to the circuit board.

Sounds like you found the trouble.. Contact DInosaur boards see if they have a replacement. (I do not know if they do) I did that with my furnace.. Very impressed with their product.
