Hi Everyone,
I've not posted to this section of the forum yet, but now have some questions. Wondering when camped in those areas, if people have the mouse problems that can be experienced in the Gilbert Ray areas? Being in a nature setting, I understand that you are in their turf but still wondering if there are difficulties?
Also being an amateur astronomer, wondered how safe it is to be out at night when a lot of the predators are moving around and hunting? While I would stay very close to the coach, wondering how close mountain lions can get in the KOFA area?
The idea of boondocking in these regions is appealing. I'd like to see how long we could go in our coach. I figured taking a little extra gas and water, we could possibly go the full 14 days. I am basing this off the time we stretched things out at campgrounds while not connected to things other than electric. Figuring on running the generator on board no more than 6 to 7 hours each day.
Part of the fun is trying and finding out what you can do.
