My wife and I have always liked color and whimsy. So, when we bought a used 1983 Sunline travel trailer, we decided right away to completely redo the interior with brighter and cheerful colors.

The dark wood finish was primed and painted over. The dated fabrics were removed and replaced. The peel and stick tile floor was replaced with faux hardwood.

We were trying to achieve a look similar to what one might expect inside a gypsy cart, and I think we accomplished that. :)

It's definitely not boring.  LOL.

That's the nice part about owning an older camper, you can put more character into it and not be as concerned. Looks like a fun space now. DWs' taste looks alive and eclectic.
