Which particular Class C RV??

What does the owners manual for the Cadillac say?? That is the bible as far as GM is concerned. You can also check with www.remcoindustries.com/   for the specific year and model and see what they say. Towing using a dolly may also be possible if towing 4 down is not.

The hitch itself has limits and on a class C RV it may be as low as 3500 lbs. This info may be stamped right into the hitch receiver itself. What the RV can tow is not  based solely on it's engine but also on the structure of the rear end of the coach and the manuals furnished with the RV itself should reflect this. It is also possible that, for example, a 5000 lb capacity hitch is mounted but not usable to that level because of the rear end construction. Again, this should be reflected in the specific  RV documents.

Probably, but it depends on the specific Class C.  Engine size is not a particularly important factor.

An SRX is fairly heavy at around 4500 lbs, so the rig needs a tow capacity of 5000 lbs or more. Most late models C's have that much, but you need to check the hitch receiver rating as well as the Max tow capacity to verify that. If Max Tow is not listed, subtract coach GVWR from GCWR to get a lower limit. If that is at least 5000, you are probably good. If less, then "maybe" and we need to discuss in more depth.

6.7L? That must be a Super C built on a Ford F-450/550; not the usual Class C. In that case, it would yank that SRX down the road. It has more than enough capacity.
