When in Vegas, best Casino/Hotels to Park at/near

In and around Vegas, any great places to park, especially where casinos cater to you in some way if you stay at their place.

Also, any one night boon docking places around there when just passing through.
 
In a word for the city and local Casinos NO!!!  Make sure anywhere you stay is gated and inaccessible to riffraff and homeless who wander everywhere and will rob you blind if your stuff of value is not chained up with pretty heavy chain no bicycle  cable. They case you RV during the day and come back at night and snip thin cable or light chain.  I carry 3/8" log chain lengths and those really hard circle locks.  You are accosted  every where you go and park for longer than 5 minutes and some times it does not take them that long to get in your face.  There is a nice park going out off the N end of Boulder Hwy on the way toward the Air Force Base but my search does not seem to find it right now.  Just found it.

I spent many winters in Las Vegas camping in a friend's front yard and found the town nothing like someone else describes it. I was also allowed to camp at Sunset Casino's parking lot.
 
On our trip to Las Vegas last year, we didn't want to pay $120/night for one of the luxury RV resorts, so we decided to check out the casino campgrounds on the Boulder Strip on the east side of town. We found out that Sam's Town had sold their RV parks to KOA so we weren't interested. We almost made a reservation at Arizona Charlie's until I talked to someone that lives in the area that asked me why I wanted to stay in a homeless area. I found out that just as Tom Hoffman stated, if you leave anything outside your RV, it will be gone when you return or get up in the morning.

We wound up making reservations at Duck Creek RV Park and had great success there. The staff is very friendly and they cater to dogs. They have a 10 year old RV rule that isn't enforced just to keep out the homemade trailers. It is an all asphalt park like most city RV parks, but is reasonably clean and well kept and affordable. I will stay there again when we return.
 
Last year we stayed at Las Vegas RV Resort behind Sam's Town. It's a gated park. We didn't experience any of the problems mentioned above and that includes going for a two mile walk everyday. Not to say I wouldn't be cautious, but we didn't put everything away when went went out. Also we checked out KOA's park and it is also gated and looked pretty good.Too hot to boondock this time of year.
 
We stay at the Oasis which is not overly expensive around $50 with good sam discount. We also stay up in Boulder City at a nice park called Canyon Trails. Around $35 with good sam.
 
Parking at casinos just got more complex this year.  Most of the properties on the Strip recently started charging to park.  The MGM group of properties was first with others following.  Some are even charging for valet parking which  used to be free except for the valet's tip.  I don't believe they've started charging at off-Strip casinos, but I suspect they've had to control Strip parking in some manner because of the new T-Mobile Arena, the big City Center area, and people park all day at MGM and take the monorail elsewhere.  Every time a new building goes up, the amount of parking available declines.  This, of course, affects people who want to boondock in a casino parking lot.  It's simply not feasible.  The off-Strip casinos are still free and many still have lots that can accommodate large vehicles.  If you plan on visiting Las Vegas in your RV it would be a very good idea to call the casinos you want to visit and ask them about RV parking.

The homeless are indeed a growing problem in Las Vegas so the advice to go to a controlled-access RV park is good.  If you want to see where the crime clusters occur go to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police site at https://www.crimemapping.com/map/nv/lasvegas.  By the way, Las Vegas is now a city of two million residents and it is a major tourist destination so the days of cheap buffets and free parking are disappearing.

Very nice park

DO not know if they still offer a campground but Main Street Casino on Freemont and main. THe RV park is behind the Califorian across Main about a block and a half north of Freemont.. Freemont is a must see in the evening , this is OLD las vegas

NOISY (Freeway exit, bus depot EMS as neighbors) but I liked it, Run Air COnditionre fan on high to block some of the noise.
