CG's with fireworks views?

Seems like a good time to ask this.... too late for this year I suppose, but for pre-planning....

Any CG's with a fireworks view from the campsite.... or secondarily from within the park?

DW loves fireworks shows, but I hate the crowds, the parking, the late drive home...... oh the horror.....
 
Depends where you camp.?? Here in west michigan along Lake Michigan we go to Grand Haven state park and watched them from our site. From the park to about 100 yards beyond the fireworks launch site was blanket to blanket on the ground, which people started to claim spots at 9 am the morning of. In my opinion the fireworks were not good at all and I take your approach to viewing them. Always a fight or someone dying-espicially at Detroits fireworks.
