RCA TV Problems

Ok so I have a older RCA digital tv in a 2008 Sunstar. When I turn the tv on the red Light goes out then after a few seconds the screen comes up then a few more seconds and it shuts itself back off. Anyone else have this happen to them? It is on shore power.
 
My son had a Vizio that did that. It turned out to be a bad capacitor. We fixed it, but another one went out and DS decided to buy a new TV.
