Another day and I should be finished I spent close to $1500.00 in materials. Hope to visit Maine & Vermont this summer then heading back to Florida late September - May 2018 while hiding from the cold I'll be thinking of what to do next. The blinds I used are blackout, we have the dining area bronze tinted for 87% sun reflection the rest of the windows will be tinted in October. I built the desk with a cedar top and the rest is pine, my buddy is building us a folding dinette similar to the photo shown here.
I'm also installing solar screens on the door, skylight & windows which reflects 90% of the suns heat according to manufacturer. I'm hoping to drop the inside temp by 20 degrees or close to it while in the hot sun so we'll see I will keep the forum posted as we go.
