Request Best Route from Nags Head NC to Bethesda MD

We will be driving from Nags Head NC to Bethesda MD next week and it seems in prior years we always end up lost and/or going down non RV friendly roads especially in the Norfolk area.  We have a 34' Class A and are towing a car so would appreciate ideas on the best route especially around Baltimore, MD.

You shouldn't be anywhere close to Baltimore.
An easy way, but about 45 minutes longer than 64 to 95N is:
158 out of Nags Head to Barco, then pick up 168 to Chesapeake Va. Pick up 64 E there,
off of 64 E take 13N across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel to Salisbury Md.
At Salisbury, take 50 W across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to 495N
495N will take you to Bethesda.

Taking 64 to 95, you have to deal with those miserable tunnels at Hampton, then fight traffic around Richmond and Fredericksburg. The traffic on the North side of 495 Beltway around DC is usually better than the West side too.
