I am new at this.  How do you tie down the driving wheel of a car that does not lock for a dolly that requires it?
 
You can use the driver's seatbelt... this is standard practice for tow truck drivers, and there is a specific technique to it.  Maybe a driver in your area can give you a quick tutorial.  ;)

Searching on Youtube, I also see people have instructions on securing steering wheels (which winching or towing) using rope or other specialty ratchet straps.
 
Thank you folks.  I successfully towed for 400 miles today.  I used both the seatbelt and the ratched straps.  It worked well.  Again, thanks.
