Is it possible to cut Filon?  I need to get to the outside sheeting on my Class A and I cannot afford to buy new Filon.  Mine is still intact and not really messed up.  Delaminated yes, damaged, no.  Can I make a small cut on the side and remove, clean and reuse a section of my FILON siding?  Has anyone tried this before?  I have a 10 foot section of wall I need to remove/replace due to a hidden water leak that I discovered the hard way....

Yes, you can cut it. Try to cut along an edge so that it doesn't show when glued back in place. You must use pressure to glue it back. It is best to use a piece of plywood against the Filon and brace it against something to keep the pressure applied.

Basically a third of my wall. I can cut above the door and then I will have just a short seem. The rest of it is mostly a big window cut out. So about a 9x10 section if I had to guess.
