1997 Viking pop up turn signal issue

We have a 1997 Viking and have had it for about a year. We noticed as we hooked up to go home the campers right side brake/ turn signal out. I changed the bulb, and only the lights came on, no braking or turn signal.
The contact for the bulb looks fine as well .

Have they ever worked and perhaps you never noticed before?

Start at the plug using a voltmeter and check the wiring from there on back. The brake and turn signal lights share the same filament in the bulb, hence, the same wire.. I would suspect the plug/wire connection from the tow vehicle.
